When Toria told me she was planning on getting a tattoo on the side of her body, I suggested the face of a sad clown. That way, as she becomes older and progressively fatter/ wrinkled, the clown’s frown will sag lower and lower. It’d be a clown that becomes sadder over time, and I think that’s goddamned brilliant. Unfortunately, she didn’t take my advice, and while the finished result is nice enough, she still deserves to see what could have been.
